How To Make Money On Fiverr
Step 1: Finding a Niche
Before you can make money on Fiverr, you need to find your niche. It’s a good idea to start with something that you are passionate about so that you will enjoy running your business and work at it full-time if necessary. Luckily for our purposes, there is a large demand for writers and there are plenty of niches to choose from. You could write anything from website content to product descriptions to press releases. If you’re just starting out, I would recommend sticking with writing articles or product descriptions as they tend to be easier to get accepted for and are more beginner friendly. If you have some experience under your belt already, then feel free to branch out into other areas such as proofreading or editing services. Once you’ve decided what type of service you want to provide, do some research on what keywords people are using in their searches for that service. This will help you figure out how to position yourself in front of potential clients and give them an easy way to find your gig. For example, if you decide to sell product descriptions, you might use product description writer as one of your keywords. Then when someone types that phrase into Google, they will see your gig first and hopefully click through to hire you! Keep in mind that you should try to focus on 1-2 main keywords per gig. The more specific your keyword, the less competition you will face for ranking highly for it (and thus making sales). Also, remember that you don’t have to stick with just one gig – you can create multiple gigs for different products or services. This allows you to spread out your risk and cover all of your bases. Finally, remember that there is a lot of competition on Fiverr. A lot. So you will likely have to lower your prices considerably in order to compete with others who are offering similar services. In fact, many sellers price their services at $5-$10 because it makes them look more appealing than higher priced options. However, keep in mind that you should still charge enough to earn a profit. One way to do this is by including extras like unlimited revisions or extra images within your gig. If you aren’t sure where to start pricing your services, check out these guides: Pricing Your Services As A Freelancer & How Much Should You Charge? . There are several ways to go about finding clients on Fiverr but none of them are particularly effective unless done correctly. Here are a few of my best tips for finding clients on Fiverr. Do your best to respond to every message you receive, even if it’s just to say that you will get back to them later. This shows that you are serious about your business and will show that you are trustworthy. When responding, always offer additional services or discounts in exchange for future referrals. Always thank your client for hiring you and let them know that you appreciate their business.
